How membership works
ShadowClan is invitation-only. Here is exactly how you get in, how standing is earned, what each plan includes, and how quickly we get back to you.
1. Joining
- Step 1Get an invitationA Trusted member shares a code with you — or request one from the team.
- Step 2ApplyTell us who you are and share your work. It takes about five minutes.
- Step 3Admin reviewA person reviews every application. Target: 3 business days.
- Step 4Welcome inYou get an email, sign in, and finish a short onboarding. You start at Verified.
- Step 5Earn standingEndorsements, shipped projects and verified skills raise your reputation and level.
2. Shadow ranks
Ranks are earned, not bought. They move up automatically as your reputation grows and never move down on their own. Platform administration is separate: it is never earned through reputation and is assigned privately by the founders.

| Clan King | Create and run a clan (Top plan). | Shown next to your name inside your clan; you manage its members, chat and projects. |
3. Beta access
ShadowClan is in Beta. Every member gets one Beta access period from their first sign-in, with every feature included. When it ends, your profile, feed and browsing stay available; other features will be available after beta. We'll announce plans and prices at least 15 days before billing starts, and nothing is ever charged without you confirming it.
4. How quickly we respond
These are the targets our team works to on business days (Mon–Fri, 10:00–18:00 IST, excluding Indian public holidays). They are service goals, not guarantees.
